WONJA
Wonja Academy, formerly YANA Careers

Build only what the role requires.

Academy is the home of the programs formerly delivered as YANA Careers. It turns your diagnostic result into a short, specific plan: the target role, the gaps between you and it, and the live or self-paced learning that closes them.

Product preview

A plan built from your diagnostic, not a catalogue

Target pathway, current strengths, the gaps to close and the learning selected against them. Already completed the diagnostic? Your own plan lives in the workspace at /app/academy.

  • Participant communication
  • Clinical documentation
Gaps to close
  • Protocol application
  • Essential documents
  • Visit workflow

Recommended learning plan

ICH-GCP applied to site operations72% complete

Closes: Protocol application. Demonstrated in: Protocol interpretation casebook.

Essential documents and the TMF40% complete

Closes: Essential documents. Demonstrated in: Deviation and safety reporting casebook.

Participant visit workflowNot started

Closes: Visit workflow. Demonstrated in: Participant visit conduct simulation.

Why this is recommended: This plan is built from the background you entered, the target role you selected and the gaps the diagnostic identified. Domains you already demonstrate are not repeated back to you, and each item ends at the Labs work that proves it.

Not complete yet

Essential documents and the TMF is the least complete item in the plan. It maps to a required coordinator domain that is not yet evidenced.

What problem this solves

Generic learning costs time you do not have.

Most people start by buying training and hope it points somewhere. Academy inverts that: name the pathway and the gap first, then learn only what closes it, then demonstrate it in Labs.

  • A catalogue cannot tell you which gap is holding you back.
  • Training bought without a target role rarely converts to readiness.
  • Time and money go to material you have already covered.
  • Attendance alone does not change how you are read.
How it works

Gap first, then learning, then proof

01

Diagnose

The two-minute diagnostic reads your background, exposure and goals.

02

Choose a pathway

Pick the recommended role you are aiming at.

03

See your gaps

The capability domains the role expects that you have not yet shown.

04

Learn against the gap

Self-paced modules, structured cohorts, coaching or mentorship.

05

Practice

Role-relevant activity before anything is scored.

06

Move into Labs

Demonstrate the closed gap through casebooks and practical assessment.

What you can do

What you can do in Academy

Follow a role pathway

Sequenced learning for coordinator, assistant, monitoring and specialist routes.

Close one domain at a time

Short, focused units mapped to a single capability domain.

Join a structured program

Cohort-based development for people who want pace and accountability.

Work with a coach or mentor

Guided support for transitioners making a first move into research.

Rehearse before assessment

Practice activities that mirror the casebook work you will be scored on.

Track the gap closing

Progress is read against the domains your target role expects.

How Academy works

Start with the diagnostic. Then choose how you want to learn.

Two minutes tells us your starting point and target role. From there Academy splits into two routes: learn on your own schedule, or learn with an instructor and a cohort.

Step one, for everyone

Take the two-minute diagnostic.

It reads your background, exposure and target role, then points you at the route that fits: learn on your own schedule, or learn with a cohort and a coach.

  • Specialty tracks for regulatory, data, safety and writing

Best for: People closing a named gap, or adding a specialty.

Mentor coaching a junior clinical research associate across a table

Route B

Coaching programs

Live instruction, a cohort and a coach, mapped to the tier your diagnostic points at.

  • Entry level into the 6-week CRC program
  • Site professionals into Site to CRA
  • Experienced professionals into the Leadership tier

Best for: People making a role change who want pace and accountability.

Coaching programs

Three tiers. Your diagnostic points at one of them.

Live instruction with a cohort and a coach. Each tier ends in Labs, where the work you have practised is demonstrated and scored.

Accreditation notice

What our trainer accreditation means, and what it does not.

Rudy Malle personally holds a current Q-IAOCR accreditation as an Internationally Qualified Clinical Research Trainer, Trainer No. 16167194. Every Wonja Academy program is designed and delivered by Rudy, so learners are trained by an IAOCR Accredited Trainer.

What it means

  • The accreditation recognises Rudy Malle's individual knowledge, teaching competence and ongoing professional standards as a clinical research trainer.
  • IAOCR accredits individual trainers, not training providers, curricula or courses.

What it does not imply

  • Wonja is not itself an IAOCR-accredited organisation.
  • No Wonja Academy program, curriculum, course or cohort is IAOCR-accredited, IAOCR-approved or IAOCR-certified.
  • A Wonja Academy certificate of completion is issued by Wonja only. It is not an IAOCR certificate, credential or licence.
  • Completing a Wonja Academy program does not confer any IAOCR accreditation on the learner.

How it connects

Academy builds. Labs proves.

Starts at the diagnostic

Nothing is recommended until your starting point is known.

Ends at a casebook

Each pathway hands off to the Labs work that evidences it.

Feeds the Passport indirectly

Learning alone does not create a record. Demonstrated work does.

Supports Talent

Job-search support, recruiter introductions and interview preparation continue in Wonja Talent.

Clear limits

  • Not a qualification. Academy completion is not a professional qualification or regulatory approval.
  • Not evidence on its own. Completing learning does not create a Passport. Demonstrated work does.
Next step

Find out what your gap actually is.

Two minutes, then a pathway and a first step that matches your background. If you have already taken the diagnostic, your personalised plan is waiting in the workspace.
